Bought 40 oz of Columbus' peppered turkey bacon at Costco, and prepared it the three ways suggested on the package: microwaved, baked, and fried. Hands down the baked was more like real bacon. The microwaved tasted liked warmed, dried out, ham. The fried was like fried ham. But the baked was AMAZING. And it was the easiest! Baked the slices on a non stick cookie sheet at 400- until the strips looked like cooked bacon. It took about 15 minutes- a little longer for the first batch. We ate the strips right out of the oven, and then I sliced and diced some for a quiche. Fantastic!
