A particularly good shepherd's pie- with fennel!

You will find the recipe for shepherd's pie posted on May 11, 2014.  I modified that recipe a little- and used, for my veggie blend, one very large bulb of fennel root, and one large onion.  I chopped them up, cooking them with butter, and about 3 TBS worcestershire sauce.
